اغتصاب طفل حتى الموت لشهادة أمه على قتل طفل في مسيرة سلمية ::: condemning the rape to death crime against a child because of a testimony against Security personnel accused of killing another child

دانت منظمتا "سياج لحماية الطفولة" و"هود للدفاع عن الحقوق والحريات" جريمة الاغتصاب حتى الموت بحق الطفل (عمر ج س 6سنوات) بسبب شهادة والدته ضد أفراد من الأمن المركزي بأنهم أطلقوا النار عمداً على مسيرة احتجاجية سلمية نتج عنها مقتل طفل مشارك في الاحتجاج.

فقد أفادت والدة الطفل الضحية للمنظمتين أنها كانت الشاهد الوحيد على قيام رجال أمن مركزي بإطلاق النار على مسيرة سلمية لتلاميذ مدرسة عمر المختار بمنطقة "فوّه" مدينة المكلا حضرموت بتاريخ 12 مارس 2011م تسببت في قتل الطفل رامي سالم بارميل 13 عاماً.

وقالت الأم أنها تلقت تهديدات باختطاف أطفالها في حال تقدمت بشهادتها ضد رجال الأمن ولكنها لم تستجب لتلك التهديدات وقامت بتقديم شهادتها أمام النيابة المختصة.

وأفاد محامون وناشطون حقوقيون أن الأم تتعرض لحملة واسعة من التهديدات والإغراءات لكتم صوتها.

وحملت المنظمتان الحكومة اليمنية كامل المسئولية عن سلامة الأم وبقية أطفالها. وتدعو القضاء الوطني إلى تحمل مسئوليته القانونية والدستورية في عدم إفلات مرتكبي الجريمة من العقاب الرادع.

وتدعو "سياج" و"هود" كافة المنظمات المعنية في داخل وخارج اليمن إلى إدانة هذه الجريمة البشعة والسعي لتقديم جميع مرتكبيها إلى العدالة..

Statement of condemnation

Seyaj organization for childhood protection and Hood organization for defending rights and freedom condemn the rape crime to death against the child ( Omar. J.S 6 years old) due to a testimony of his mother against members of the Central Security who fired intentionally on a peaceful protest resulted the death of a participated child in the protest.

 

The mother reported to the two organizations that she was the only witness against the Central Security who fired a peaceful march for Omar Al-Mokhtar school in "Foah" , Al-Mukalla in Hadhramout at March 12^th 2011, causing the death of Rami Salem Barmeel, 13 years old.

 

The mother added that she had received threats to kidnap her children if she testifies against the Security men but she didn't respond to such threats and she has provided testimony to the prosecution authorities.

Lawyers and rights activists reported that the victim's mother is exposed to a broad campaign of threats and financial temptations to make her change her mind.

 

Seyaj and Hood bear the responsibility to the Yemeni Government for the safety of the mother and her other children.

As well as calling upon the national judiciary to bear its legal and constitutional responsibility to make sure that the perpetrators punish for their crime.

Moreover, Seyaj and Hood call all the relevant organizations inside and outside Yemen to condemn  this heinous crime and to seek to bring all perpetrators to justice.
