"سواء" لمناهضة التمييز تدعو بن عمر والرئيس هادي لإشراك اليهود في مؤتمر الحوار الوطني
عبرت منظمة سواء لمناهضة التمييز عن أسفها الشديد لعدم إشراك المواطنين اليهود باليمن في مؤتمر الحوار الوطني المقرر عقده مطلع العام القادم 2013م.
وترى منظمة سواء لمناهضة التمييز أن عدم إشراك اليهود في مؤتمر الحوار الوطني، يعد تجاوزا لأبسط حقوق المواطنة المتساوية، خصوصا وأن هذه الشريحة تعاني من تشريعات ظالمة تحول دون تحقيق مشاركة سياسية فاعلة لها، وتنتقص من حقوقهم الأساسية.
وفي الوقت الذي تشيد فيه المنظمة بإدراج فئة المهمشين في قوام المتحاورين، فإن المنظمة تدعو الرئيس عبدربه منصور هادي للالتفات للطائفة اليهودية وإشراكها في مؤتمر الحوار الوطني من خلال إدراجها ضمن المقاعد المخصصة له والتي يبلغ قوامها 62 مقعدا.
كما تدعو المنظمة السيد جمال بن عمر مساعد الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة لشئون اليمن، إلى الضغط لإدراج هذه الشريحة في قوام مؤتمر الحوار الوطني، مؤكدة أن عدم إشراكها يعد مخالفا للتسوية السياسية، وللمواثيق الأممية، التي ترعى حقوق الأقليات السكانية.
وتشير المنظمة إلى أنها سبق وأن أصدرت تقريرا تناولت فيه أهم المشاكل التي تعاني منها هذه الأقلية السكانية، والتي من أبرزها، منعها من المشاركة السياسية، وعدم حصولها على حقوقها في الوظيفة الحكومية، والتعليم المناسب، الأمر الذي يعد مخالفا للدستور والتشريعات اليمنية، والإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان.

Sawa'a Organization for Anti-Discrimination expressed its deeply regrets for not involving the Jewish citizens in Yemen in the National Dialogue Conference that will be held in early 2013.
Sawa'a Organization views that not involving Jews in the National Dialogue Conference, is a violation against the most basic rights of equal citizenship, especially since this segment suffers from unfairly legislation that prohibit effective political participation, and detract their fundamental rights.
While the organization commends the marginalized group inclusion in the interlocutors category, the organization calls the President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to heed the Jewish community and involve them in the National Dialogue Conference through including them in the seats allocated to him, which are 62 seats.
The organization also calls Mr. Jamal Bin Omar, UN Envoy to Yemen, to press for including this segment in the interlocutors category of the National Dialogue Conference, and assures that not involving it, is contrary to the political settlement and UN conventions, which care for the demographic minorities' rights.
The organization points that it has already issued a report which dealt with the most important problems that suffered by this demographic minority, and most important of which is preventing them from political participation, lack of getting their rights in government jobs and appropriate education, which are contrary to the Constitution and legislation of Yemen and the Universal Declaration of Human rights.
