وجهت منظمة سياج لحماية الطفولة اليوم مناشدة عاجلة للرئيس علي عبدالله
صالح لسرعة التوجيه بإلغاء حكم الإعدام الصادر بحق قاصر متهم بجريمة قتل
في محافظة إب 200كم جنوب العاصمة صنعاء.
كما خاطبت المنظمة كلاً من رئيس مجلس القضاء الأعلى القاضي عصام السماوي
والنائب العام بالجمهورية اليمنية الدكتور عبدالله عبدالله العلفي لسرعة
التوجيه باتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية كون تنفيذ الحكم بحق أي قاصر مخالفة
صريحة
وواضحة لنصوص الدستور والقوانين اليمنية النافذة وجميع المعاهدات ومواثيق
حقوق الإنسان التي صدقت الجمهورية اليمنية عليها.

تهديكم منظمة سياج لحماية الطفولة أطيب تحياتها متمنية لكم التوفيق في
أعمالكم وبالإشارة إلى الموضوع أعلاه فقد تلقت منظمة سياج لحماية الطفولة
بلاغا باعتزام القضاء تنفيذ حكم الإعدام رميا بالرصاص بموجب حكم صادر من
محكمه والمؤيد من قبل محكمه الاستئناف بالمحافظة والمحكمة العليا
والمصدق عليه من قبلكم بحق القاصر /محمد طاهر السموم والذي اتهم
بجريمة قتل عمد وكان عمره حينها حسب بلاغ والذي يعد حكم الإعدام فيه
مخالفه علنية لصريح الدستور والقوانين الوطنية النافذة والتي تحدد سن
المسؤولية الجنائية لـ 18 عاما كما يعد مخالفه صريحة لجميع الاتفاقيات
والمعاهدات الدولية التي صدقت عليها الجمهورية اليمنية فأصبحت بذلك
ملتزمة بتنفيذها كجزء من التشريعات الوطنية .

فإننا نناشدكم التدخل العاجل بحكم موقعكم ومسؤوليتكم سرعه التوجيه
بإلغاء عقوبة الإعدام وإعادة ملف القضية إلى المحكمة والنيابة المختصة
للنظر فيه وفقا للقوانين النافذة .
SEYAJ organization for Childhood Protection sent an urgent appeal letter to
the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to cancel the death penalty issued
against a minor in Ibb governorate. Also, Seyaj addressed the
general-attorney in Yemen and the head of supreme judicial.

SEYAJ Organization for Childhood Protection presents its best regards and
deep wishes for you in your duties dedicated for the country and the Yemeni
citizens.
With reference to the above subject, Seyaj has received a notification about
the court's intention to implement a shot execution in accordance with the
judgment issued by Ibb court ,supported by the appeal court and supreme
court that is ratified by your Excellency against a minor/ Mohammed Taher
Al-Samom who accused of murder.
This death penalty is considered as a public disorder to the constitution
and the national laws that specify 18 years as the criminal responsibility
age. Also, it is an explicit disorder for all the international agreements
and conventions that is ratified by the Republic of Yemen therefore, Yemen
became committed to implement such conventions as a part of national
legislations.
Therefore, Seyaj appeals you – your Excellency- your urgent intervention as
your responsibility and position to cancel the death penalty and return the
case file to the court and the prosecution to be reviewed according to the
laws.
